Serpihan roket milik China, Long March 5B dilaporkan telah terhempas di lautan Hindi, berhampiran kepulauan Maldives.
Menurut South China Morning Post, sisa roket itu telah memasuki atmosfera bumi pada 10.24 pagi waktu Beijing dan jatuh ke laut terbuka pada kedudukan 72.47 darjah timur dan 2.65 darjah utara.
Sebahagian besar serpihan roket itu dilaporkan terbakar ketika proses berkenaan.
Roket yang membawa modul teras Stesen Angkasa Tiangong China telah dilancarkan di Tapak Pelancaran Kapal Angkasa Wenchang, Hainan pada April 29 lalu.
