“Tak Sabar Nak Bawa Pergi Kedai Yong Tau Foo Kegemaran Ayah,” Anak Emosi Susulan Penahanan Najib Razak

Hari ini sekali lagi Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak ditahan Suruhanjaya Pencegahan Rasuah Malaysia (SPRM) berikutan kes 1MDB yang masih tidak selesai. Najib yang ditahan pada petang Rabu membuatkan anak lelaki bongsunya meluahkan rasa sebak di atas penahanan bapanya.

“As I sit here outside your place of detainment, I am filled with trepidation.”

Sedang saya duduk diluar tempat penahanan ayah, hati saya penuh dengan rasa kebimbangan.

“I can’t imagine the kind of tribulation that you are facing in there.”

Saya tak dapat bayangkan kesusahan yang ayah hadapi di dalam sana.

“Praying that you are given a fair treatment and for Malaysia’s rule of law to be upheld.”

Saya berdoa supaya kamu diberikan layanan yang adil supaya undang-undang di Malaysia ditegakkan.

“Can’t wait to bring you to your favorite yong tau foo place when you are released daddy  #pray4dsnr #ruleoflaw #najibrazak#amin”

Tak sabar nak bawa ayah di kedai makan yong tau foo kegemaran ayah bila ayah dah bebas nanti.

Sementara itu, Nooryana Najwa Najib juga meluahkan rasa yang sama melalui akaun peribadinya.

“Daddy, before I slept, I sent you this picture of me and Adam wishing you all the best for your MACC appointment at 3pm (Malaysian time). You didn’t read or reply my message and then at 5am, Ashman called to say that they have arrested and detained you, again. 
It pains me that I am on the other side of the world and not there with you..but you always insisted that giving up Harvard was always out of the question, no matter how difficult the circumstances. 
So as I sit in bed at 6am here in Boston, unable to go back back to sleep, thinking about your safety and how Mummy, Ashman and everyone else is coping back home, I came across a quote that I sent to you over the weekend (you got to read this one) and it’s already making me feel a little better… “It is not the critic who counts; not the man who points out how the strong man stumbles, or where the doer of deeds could have done them better. The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena, whose face is marred by dust and sweat and blood; who strives valiantly; who errs, who comes short again and again, because there is no effort without error and shortcoming; but who does actually strive to do the deeds; who knows great enthusiasms, the great devotions; who spends himself in a worthy cause; who at the best knows in the end the triumph of high achievement, and who at the worst, if he fails, at least fails while daring greatly, so that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who neither know victory nor defeat” Theodore Roosevelt

Ayah, sebelum kami tidur, saya menghantar gambar Adam dan saya mendoakan semoga perjumpaan kamu di SPRM nanti berjalan dengan lancar.  Kamu tak membaca atau membalas mesej saya, tapi pada pukul 5 pagi tadi, Ashman menelefon dan memberitahu mereka telah menangkap kamu sekali lagi.  Sakit rasanya kerana saya berada jauh daripada kamu, tapi kamu selalu menegaskan untuk tidak melepaskan pengajian di Harvard walau bagaimana susah pun keadaan.  

Saya tak boleh tidur mengenangkan bagaimana keselamatan kamu, Mummy, Ashman dan semua orang yang berada dirumah.

Najib ketika ini masih dalam penahanan SPRM dan bakal dihadapkan ke Mahkamah Sesyen Kuala Lumpur hari ini pada pukul 3 petang bagi mengemukakan pertuduhan.
